Howard Webb had his work cut out during a particularly full blooded World Cup Final. But at Contentment we already knew about his ability to rise to a challenge. In our celeb-fest comedy ‘Can We Have A Referee’ for the FA Respect programme, Howard makes his screen debut as a player who point blank refuses to be the ref.

The joke, at the climactic point of the comedy, was very much on him, but he embraced the task of delivering it with remarkable professionalism and good humour. Watch out, too, for Fabio Capello who provides the comic dénouement.
